Recently, I was given the oportunity to check a product by "Sleeklens". It's a workflow for Photoshop (versions from 4 to 6 and CC) based on a series of actions to improve our landscape pictures. These "actions" can be applied on raw as well as on jpeg pictures. They are easy to install and are grouped into families depending on the effects they cause on picture. We can manipulate color, exposure, contrast... or all the aspects of the picture in general at the same time.
Among the strengths, we should mention that every action applied creates new layer or group of layers, but the original image remains untouched and safe under those layers. We can vary the intensity of the action applied only changing the "opacity" of this group of layer. So we can easily compare how the image looks all along from 0% to 100% of the action applied.
Another interesting point is that when working with large volumes of photos, we can significantly lighten our tasks and facilitate workflows. I personaly try to control every picture since the moment of shooting it, treat it carefully, so usually I don't work with a large volume of pictures at a time. I like to edit my images one by one working carefully every area of the picture with the endless tools offered by Photoshop. But it is worth having the possibilities offered Sleeklens to lighten the procedure if you need to improve a big amount of images in a short time.
A version for Lightroom is also available.
